Syria Initiative for Security

SIS — Independent Research Initiative

After years of research and planning, we are pleased to officially announce the launch of the Syria Initiative for Security (SIS), an independent research initiative providing in-depth and objective analysis of security policies in Syria during the transitional period.

Who We Are

The Syria Initiative for Security (SIS) is an independent research platform dedicated to studying and analyzing security policies in Syria during its current transitional phase.

The initiative is founded on the conviction that building sustainable peace in Syria requires rigorous and objective scientific analysis, free from political and ideological biases, grounded in deep knowledge of the complexities of the Syrian reality and the demands of the transitional period.

We ensure our research and analysis are built on sound scientific methodology, drawing on reliable and diverse sources, making them an effective tool for decision-makers, researchers, and civil society.
